MultiBit Game Platform – Terms of Use

Welcome to the MultiBit game platform ("Platform"). This Platform is operated by MultiBit Solutions Inc., a Canadian company. By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms").

1. Who Owns What

We own the platform. Everything used to build and run the Platform, including our software, systems, and designs, belongs to MultiBit Solutions Inc.

You own your content. Any games, stories, artwork, writing, audio, or other content you create or upload is still yours. You give us permission to display and host it on the Platform as part of delivering the service.

You also allow us to use screenshots, gameplay recordings, or other in-game visuals from your projects for marketing purposes (e.g. videos, trailers, social posts). We'll never sell or license your content to others without your permission.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform for anything illegal, abusive, or disruptive. Specifically:

No illegal content or activity.
No spam or data harvesting.
No hacking, reverse-engineering, or trying to copy the Platform.
No harassment, hate speech, or impersonation.
No uploading content you don't have the rights to use.

If content violates these rules, we may remove it and suspend or ban accounts as needed.

If you see content that violates our terms, you can report it through the platform or support form. We're not responsible for disputes between players and creators, but we may step in if needed.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform, and 18 or older to publish content or agree to these Terms. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and your information accurate.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to your content. By using the Platform, you grant us a license to:

Host, display, and share your content as needed to make your game playable.
Store backups and internal copies to provide technical support or maintain service.

You're responsible for ensuring that your content doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights.

Sounds and images generated using built-in tools (e.g. AI or procedural generators) are also yours. Other users may not reuse them without your permission. We may use generated assets in internal demos or marketing, but not in other users' projects.

5. Platform Changes and Access

We may modify or update the Platform at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who break these Terms or misuse the service.

We are not liable for any losses, damages, or downtime. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Services

Certain features may rely on third-party services such as OpenAI (for text generation) or ElevenLabs (for voice synthesis). By using these features, you agree to their terms and privacy policies as well.

We also use Discord for community chat and support, but it is not linked to your Platform account.

7. Machine Learning and Product Improvement

We may use anonymized or aggregated data, such as how users design systems, gameplay loops, or resource flows, to improve our tools and train models that assist creators (e.g. suggestions, templates, automation).

We do not train on your stories, characters, or creative content. Our goal is to make building games easier, not to replicate or redistribute your work.

8. Data Portability and Deletion

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and content at any time. Some data may be retained as required by law or for security purposes.

9. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

10. General

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the latest version.
